好像一切都很糟糕
Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 警魂
这是一部取材于真人真事的现代警匪片，影片塑造了一个真实可信、可敬可亲的当代人民警察的光辉形象。彭宝林——1987年退伍，后任惠阳县工商银行经济警察，1991年主动要求调入惠阳县老街派出所任民警。彭宝林在工作中时时处处严于律己，爱护群众。1993年5月14日，在执行任务中，彭宝林突遇藏匿的通缉犯香港黑社会头目区耀煌。悍匪胁迫人质，持枪拒捕，彭宝林不顾自己身负重伤，与顽匪展开激战，并将悍匪击毙。而彭宝林最终因抢救无效，壮烈殉职，他以自己的青春热血为当代人民警察树立了光辉的榜样。中华人民共和国公安部追授彭宝林全国一级英雄模范称号。该片获得1994年中国电影华表奖优秀故事片奖；1995年第15届金鸡奖最佳故事片奖。
